Creative leader helping brands navigate social media, culture, technology and AI without compromising creative quality.

With 20+ years agency experience, I have a diverse skill set, from above-the-line ads for household names, to social-first campaigns, to world-first innovation projects.

A truly social first Creative Director with not just campaign extension but experience helping brands and agencies adapt thinking and processes for social with extensive experience running always on and major event newsrooms. I pioneered the usage of AI long before the current generation of AI tools, working with IBM Watson in 2016 to create a smart cooking assistant and creating the first AI campaign in the spirits category. My focus is now how we can utilise AI as part of the creative process in ways beyond Gen AI.

During my time in the industry, I have held creative leadership roles at some of the world’s top creative agencies, including AMV BBDO, BBH, McCann Health, SEEN Connects, Digitas, Leagas Delaney, and Cheil. I have been fortunate enough to have worked with AMV BBDO (on and off) for over seven years. During which time, I took the lead on several successful pitches, and was instrumental in consolidating the Mars confectionary social account. Not to mention, picking up multiple awards along the way.

Back in the naughties, I helped define and develop the Agent Provocateur brand, working consistently with them through various agencies for eight years, before ultimately setting up my own agency to handle the creative account.

I have also served as a creative consultant for the Digital Archaeology Exhibition – an initiative set up to preserve important digital culture and raise awareness of digital archiving. Highlights include being part of the hugely successful Digital Revolution exhibition at the Barbican, restoring and demonstrating the first website to CERN, and exhibiting at the Metropolitan pavilion in New York.

Over the years I have won a bunch of awards, most recently a Bronze Cannes Lion.

In 2021, I was Jury President for D&AD New Blood in the gaming category. Since then, I have continued to work with D&AD as a teacher and mentor, with a focus on supporting junior creative talent from the BAME community.
